Employee Engagement is measured and defined as the ability and the desire of employees to put out that extra effort for the benefit of their company, the employee’s tendency to speak highly of their company as a great place to work, and the employees intention to stay with the company.   In fact, studies have shown that the more engaged the employees are, the more innovative, productive and profitable the company will be. Why is Employee Engagement declining

With many businesses experiencing declining sales, and all the news about the country’s worsening economic troubles, people are worrying more about how to make ends meets than a year earlier. This change in the mood of our employees reflects the mood of the US workforce in general.  With that, employee engagement levels have fallen in the last year. (more…)
